General Guidelines to Parents/Guardians -
Right discipline consists, not in compulsion, but in the habit of mind which leads spontaneously to
desirable activities. School believes in self discipline and in firmness. Slackness, disobedience and disregard of rules will not be justified in any circumstances.
Any breach of conduct or any work or action likely to lower the image of the school, will be regarded as a breach of school discipline. The school reserves the right to expel students whose diligence or progress in the studies considered unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students. Immorality, insubordination or contempt of authority and breaking bounds are always sufficient rea¬sons for immediate expulsion or rustication.
- Parents are required not to enter class rooms to see their children or teacher during class hours without the permission of the Principal.
- They are required to inform the school if there is any change in their address and telephone numbers.
- Leave for 1/2 day should not be asked for security reasons. In emergency, written permission must be taken from the Principal and class teacher. Children when sick should not be sent to school.
- Parent's attention is drawn to the fact that criticism of the teacher and of school in the presence of a child should be scrupulously avoided because it causes the students to lose respect for their teachers with the consequent failure to learn from them and will retard his/her progress.
- Should there be any genuine complaint, please meet the Principal at the earliest or write to him.
- Any communication made by the parent/guardian should be addressed to the Principal and not to the Class Teacher and all correspondence from the school to the parents will be through the Principal.

They should check the diary every day and note the homework and other instructions given. They are advised to check the bags of their wards to see if any notice/invitation etc. has been issued.
- Care must be taken of all school property and if any damage is done, it will be made good by the
concerned*students together with a fine imposed for the offence.
- It is not advisable to bring valuable articles like expensive watches fountain pens, transistor, calculators, mobile and jewellery to school. In case of any loss of valuables or other articles, the authorities will try their best to trace them but they shall not undertake any responsibility for the loss.
- Those who remain absent without sanctioned leave will be fined. Absence for more than 3 days just before the vacation and immediately after the vacation renders the students to pay a fine and the amount will be decided by the school authorities and if absence is for more than six days, without prior permission, it renders the students liable to have his/her name struck off the roll.
Parents and guardians will appreciate that absence during the term is in the least interest of the student. They are asked not to apply for leave if avoidable. Leave can be granted to the student only on the following grounds:
