For imparting quality education, environment free of natural or artificial disturbances is required with all the safe guards and architectural fragrance. School Library - The school Library is open to all bonafide students of the school. All classes are provided with at least
one library period per week. Students have to observe the following rules:
- Each student from class III onwards is issued 1 borrower's ticket with their photograph. These are non transferable.
- Students are allowed to borrow books only on their own cards.
- They must maintain absolute silence in the library.
- Books other than reference books are issued for 1 week. Reference books are also issued to the students during weekends for 2 days. If the library books are returned late without a valid reason the borrowing facility is withdrawn for 2 weeks.
- Books lost marked, disfigured or damaged will have to be replaced or paid for by the borrower.
- The Library has an open shelf system and students must maintain order and organisation in the different shelves. They must put the books on the tables after consultation and not just anywhere
on the shelves.
- Students are not allowed to bring their personal books into the library.
- Any child found damaging or defacing a book will be debarred from using the library for the whole academic year.
Audio Visual Education -
There is a facility of Audio Visual education for the students to provide varied exposure in order to enrich their educational experiences. The modules are carefully selected and previewed keeping in mind the crucial role of media a educational process. A part from screening films guest speaker programmes and various competitions are also held.
Computer Education -
The school has well developed and well equipped computer education programme. It comprises of theoretical inputs and practical sessions These session are conducted in the air-conditioned computer lab of the school where each child gets ample opportunity to work with the machine and peripherals. The school has good collection of education CD's which are run on these computers for the benefit of the students with its usage and bring them closer to the IT revolution.
Computer education has been introduced right from Class I, in the school All students are required to maintain utmost cleanliness and dust free environment in the Computer Lab.
School Clinic -
Medical check up of students is done and a record is maintained. Parents are informed if the doctor finds that a child need special medical attention. Thereafter the parents are expected to keep the school doctor informed about the action taken.
Parents are requested not to send sick children to school for attending classes or appearing for examinations as the child's health is of prime importance.
The medical history of1he student has to be filled up by the parents in the almanac. In case any child is on regular medication the details should be submitted to the class teacher.
Canteen Facilities -
Snacks, juices etc, are available at fixed price on cash payment in the school canteen. Parents
are request to monitor child's canteen allowance, no credit is allowed.
